Our story

The Amelia For You story

Amelia For You began in 2021 with a simple belief: elegance should feel easy. It started as a small shop for women who wanted to change up their style, finish a look they never quite managed to pull together, or fill a gap in their wardrobe that nothing on the high street seemed to cover.

Word travelled the way it always does here — a friend asks where the dress is from, and the next week she is ordering one too. By 2023 we had grown from a handful of styles into a nationally recognised label, packing orders for customers from Kaitaia to Bluff and expanding into dozens of different collections: dresses, sets, blouses, footwear, jewellery, swimwear and a full menswear range.

We choose fabrics for the way they drape and breathe through a New Zealand spring, and we cut for real bodies. Every style is trialled on more than one shape before it earns a place in the collection.
